Instrumental Lessons
Whether you are taking your very first musical steps or working towards advanced performance and examinations, our instrumental lessons are carefully tailored to each individual student.
At Whitehouse Music, we teach children from pre-school age through to adults, welcoming complete beginners as well as more experienced musicians. Our lessons combine enjoyment, creativity, and structured musical progress, helping students grow in confidence while developing a genuine love of music.
All of our tutors complete the Whitehouse Music training programme, ensuring a consistent, supportive, and high-quality learning experience across all of our services.
We are proud to offer neurodiverse-friendly teaching approaches and adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and individual needs. We also work closely with partially sighted and blind students, in partnership with the Amber Trust, helping make music education accessible to everyone.
Students have opportunities to perform within their local communities, celebrate achievements, and develop confidence and pride in their progression.
Lessons are available across our teaching locations in Staffordshire and Worcestershire, including Alvechurch, Acton Trussell, Penkridge, and online.

Acton Trussell, Staffordshire
The address will be shared with you when you book a trial lesson.
Our lessons are delivered in a home studio based in Acton Trussell. When arriving at the residence, you must enter via the gate to the left and through to the home studio, which is in the conservatory.
We offer two options for piano lessons with Scarlet:
- 30-minute individual session for £18 - providing dedicated attention to your needs
- 30-minute group lesson for £9 - where you can enjoy learning alongside others in a fun and collaborative environment
Parking is available.
You are welcome to park on the drive outside the house.

Our lessons are delivered in one of our two teaching rooms based in the Village Hall. When arriving at the Hall, you must enter through the door on the right. There are signs outside to direct you.
We offer 30-minute lessons charged at £20 per student.
Parking is available.
There are seven free car parking spaces outside the Hall, including one reserved for the use of people with disabilities. More free car parking is available nearby in the Tanyard Lane car park or at the Alvechurch Sports and Social Club (daytime only). Each of these car parks is no more than a minute's walk away from the Hall. There is also free on-street parking.
